After 11.5 years as the Wellness Program Specialist, it is time to say good bye as I retire June 30. I have spent 44 years in education, hoping to make a difference every day. It has been a pleasure working with so many staff members and community partners, but not something I have taken lightly, since we are one of only a handful of school districts that has a dedicated position for wellness. Thank you to our executive leadership team, school board and insurance trust board for recognizing how important it is to take care of our staff, so they can take care of our students and programs. We have built an award-winning wellness program that we should all be proud of. I hope to see you all around Glendale as I will be volunteering more and continuing to give back. Please take care of yourselves, laugh a little and be kind to others on your journey. Each day is a gift!

You're Invited!

We are pleased to share that Roadrunner Foot and Ankle will be one of the many vendors at the Well Connected health fair at Radiant Church in Sun City. This is free to the public and there will be 40 plus vendors that will share information and community resources. This is an indoor event, with special demonstrations and also Chef Michael from Chefs for Seniors.

So save the date - Saturday, July 12th from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Each blood drive, we give away a gift to one of our wonderful donors. Our April blood drive winner was Lila, who also gave blood yesterday. Thank you!

📖 Join us for Educator Day & Resource Expo on Wednesday, July 16th! 📖

Early childhood and elementary educators will receive FREE Museum admission for themselves and one guest. Upon entry, educators must present a school ID, homeschool affidavit, or other proof of employment.

Stop by our Resource Expo, where several organizations will share information about their products and services.

Museum Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
Expo Hours: 9:00am-1:00pm

Can’t attend Educator Day? Educators are welcome to visit the Museum FREE during regular business hours in June and July – Limit one visit per month.
