David E. Cotto, Family Services Counselor - Catholic Cemeteries

David E. Cotto, Family Services Counselor - Catholic Cemeteries I have been working at Catholic Cemeteries since December 2020. I assist them in selecting a final resting place and making burial arrangements.

As a sales professional in the funeral and cemetery industry, my goal is to provide personalized and compassionate services that help clients make informed decisions about their final resting place. During my time at this organization, I have gained extensive experience in various roles such as purchasing assistant, customer service representative, and sales representative. As a family services co

unselor, my main role is to provide counseling to families who have lost their loved ones. I communicate with clients and families to provide professional guidance about the funeral and burial process and to ensure that their needs are met. Additionally, I help clients and families who are overwhelmed by the loss of their loved ones. I use my expertise and skills to help them cope with their grief. I have a deep understanding of the complex and profound nature of grief, and I strive to provide emotional support to those who essentially need it. I also offer pre-planning services to clients who wish to purchase their final resting place in advance with interest-free monthly payment options. In summary, I strive to ensure that I meet all expectations of my clients and offer the utmost care and respect to bereaved families during difficult times. I extend the same level of care and respect to clients who are interested in making pre-planning arrangements. As a family services counselor, I am committed to ensuring customer satisfaction and providing the highest quality of service to each of my clients and their families.

Is a Mausoleum Crypt Right for You?

Crypts, an increasingly favored memorialization option, offer a striking above-ground memorial to honor our departed loved ones. Once a casket is placed in a crypt, it is sealed with an inner and outer shutter crafted from the finest marble or granite. Modern crypts are adorned with elegant etchings, cast bronze, glass furnishings, and personal mementos, where permitted, creating a space of beauty and reverence.

Crypts inside mausoleums offer a serene atmosphere for families to visit. Opting for above-ground burial allows families to purchase multiple crypts together, ensuring they remain close even after death. Crypts offer tiered pricing and allow for above-ground burials and placement of cremated remains. They have been chosen by people of all ages and cultures, including celebrities like Marilyn Monroe and Judy Garland.

What Is a Community Mausoleum?

Most modern entombments are made in public mausoleums, free-standing buildings housing crypts, or cremation niches for entombing individuals. Crypts accommodate casketed remains, while niches accommodate urns. Community mausoleums serve many unrelated individuals, while private or family mausoleums are exclusively for specific families.

The primary advantages of community mausoleums include the understanding that the casket or urn is kept secure, clean, and dry. Mausoleum crypts are sealed with an inner wall of metal, sealed with glue or caulking, and then covered with the outer shield face. Visitation can be easier if the location of the crypt is indoors or in a private section.

Why Catholic Cemeteries Are Unique

Catholic cemeteries are sacred places for those who believe in eternal life. We offer daily Mass, Field Masses on Memorial Day and All Souls Day, and chaplains for committal services. Our cemeteries provide various options for lasting memorials, including gravesites, crypts, niches, and burial sites. All sales include funds for maintenance and care of the grounds and community mausoleums.
