Dr. Levi Harrison earned his Medical degree at The University of California at Davis, School of Medicine and completed fellowship at the internationally renowned Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency in Los Angeles where he now resides and evaluates patients. His practice is a center of excellence for sports related upper extremity and shoulder injuries as well as hand rehabilitation. He has a special interest in hand and wrist trauma and fracture care. He also provides exceptional care in the areas of repetitive motion, work related injuries, athletic injuries, and aesthetic, restorative hand function procedures. His medical practice serves a culturally diverse population comprised of elite collegiate, youth and professional athletes. Dr. Levi also regularly cares for service members including fire fighters, police officers, military personnel, teachers, artists and musicians and also volunteers his medical and surgical services through the Glendale Healthy Kids program. He also offers a wide variety of customized weight loss and training modules to assist patients in attaining their lifestyle and fitness goals. In addition to being an avid sports enthusiast, fitness expert, motivational speaker and philanthropist, he also hosts a weekly radio show in Los Angeles, California and is the author of the book The Art of Fitness: A Journey to Self Enhancement. Dr. Levi has developed his skills during more than two decades of education and training, and as such, he finds himself guided by three core values: Commitment, Compassion and Service which he shares in his life and daily practice. Dr. Levi will also be serving as the Medical Director of Healthy Athletes at the Special Olympics World Games LA 2015. While attending the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Levi Harrison participated in the 1987 Special Olympics, International Summer Games as an interpreter and host for the French National Team. Dr. Harrison, being fluent in French, assisted in interpreting and translating for the French National Team at the International Special Olympics. In his own words, Dr. Levi says, “My mission is to heal, restore and rejuvenate with compassion and integrity. I am grateful to provide clinical and surgical excellence to support my patients as they return to an improved quality of life. My involvement in the community extends beyond my practice and into the lives of those I serve through motivation, fitness, healthy living and weight management presentations.”
