Gerardo Paron Counseling & Psychotherapy

Gerardo Paron Counseling & Psychotherapy Psychotherapy for individuals and couples. My style is relaxed and supportive, and my attitude positive and non-judgmental.

I am a licensed psychotherapist with over 23 years experience in treating relationship issues and mood disorders such as anger, depression and anxiety. I believe that resolving personal and relationship issues involves three major processes: identifying the root of the problem, recognizing and changing the dynamics that perpetuate it, and developing new strategies in order to sustain change. My jo

b is to help clients find the key that unlocks their inner strengths to understand themselves and interact more effectively with others. My personal connection with my clients is the essential element of successful therapy. I approach each person as an individual and remain an active participant throughout each session. I offer an integrated theoretical approach which brings together several schools of thought and I adjust my interventions to each client's need. I hold a BA in Film & Television from UCLA and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University (1990).
