Wishing our home team, the Arizona Cardinals, some luck against the Denver Broncos tonight is making us reminisce about cheering with the at the spectacular Red and White training camp scrimmage a few weeks ago.

We partnered with the Cardinals to host the Aug. 2nd practice game at State Farm Stadium which included additional festivities like a kids zone, a player autograph session, and sweepstakes giveaways. And, the photo booth hosted by Dignity Health Arizona saw roughly 1,000 fans who were thrilled to welcome this year's regular season! ❤️ Thank you to all the Dignity Health team members who attended and to all who stopped by to say hi and have their photos taken! 💪🏈

Congratulations to all the health care heroes who represented Dignity Health at the Arizona Diamondbacks Health Care Heroes Night!

Dignity Health Arizona team members were nominated to be part of the Aug. 6 opening game ceremony honoring health care personnel. The Top 10 finalists stood next to the D-backs team during the national anthem as honorary health care heroes whose remarkable journeys moved the reviewing committee that selected them. The overall winner, ICU nurse Lindsey Kittle, threw the opening pitch! And, the first 100 health care hero nominees were honored with an on-field parade during the pre-game festivities.

Dignity Health Arizona Market President, Anthony Houston, Ed.D., spoke with the D-backs VP Show about how Dignity Health's special celebration recognizing Health Care Heroes in partnership with the Arizona Diamondbacks highlights extraordinary people in all aspects of health care whose accomplishments have deeply benefited their patients and their loved ones, and whose actions exemplify our mission everyday!

It’s finally here! 😍 Tonight is Health Care Heroes Night at the Arizona Diamondbacks and we couldn't be more excited! 🐍⚾ If you see folks wearing this t-shirt, please help us thank them for the powerful impacts they have on our Arizona community.

Leading up to this event, Dignity Health Arizona employees nominated their colleagues for a special recognition opportunity. The first 100 nominees are going to be honored tonight's on-field parade during pre-game festivities — 10 of those nominees whose remarkable journeys moved the reviewing committee will stand next to the D-Backs team during the national anthem, and St. Joseph’s ICU nurse, Lindsey Kittle, earned the honor of throwing the opening pitch!

This powerful new chapter in the team’s legacy of charitable giving specifically focuses on supporting Arizona’s special needs community and will serve as the central hub for all of the organization’s charitable giving efforts. The Foundation announcement also unveiled four local Cornerstone Beneficiaries which were selected for their visionary ideas and proven track records in supporting families and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDs), including autism, down syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, and cerebral palsy.
