Save the Date! Glendive’s Cultivating Careers Expo is on 9.24 this year hosting multiple schools in the region to showcase industry with hands on experiences! Last year we had 500 students and close to 40 businesses in attendance. This year we’ve expanded the school invitation and invite all businesses that can contribute to giving students more exposure to career paths in this full day event! Registration is coming out soon!



On Aug. 5, at Pin High we are hosting a social to thank everyone who participated last year, including new businesses and curious folks on the fence to join. Hear from us on how great the event was, gain some ideas on what you could do for an experience all while enjoying complimentary appetizers and beverages.



Both events are sponsored and funded by Montana Chamber Foundation. We hope to see you there!

This event will be held at the Glendive Job Service office on 7/21/25 at 11am to help address the school bus shortages. GPS has teamed up with DLI in hopes to bring some more people behind the wheel! This is for current CDL holders that would be interested to obtain their passenger/school bus endorsement. A fast-track skills training will be held in Glendive provided by Miles Community College CDL Instructor scheduled later this coming August.

Job Site Ready (JSR) equips participants with the essential skills required to start a career in the construction trades. Participants are given exposure to tool use and maintenance, materials handling, workplace safety, construction math, blueprint reading, basic framing, and more. Normally priced at $750, we are offering this training for just $350/person, thanks to the generosity of partners and sponsors.
• Approximately 30-hours of online, self-paced modules
• 15-hours of hands-on instruction on July 21+22
• Student tool set to keep
• Must be 16+ to participate
• Earn Job Site Ready credential

CYBERSECURITY CLINIC TO BE HELD APRIL 21ST IN GLENDIVE!

The University of Montana is holding a Cybersecurity Awareness Clinic in Glendive on April 21st from 10am-3pm with a lunch break from 12pm-1pm. The clinics are designed to boost cybersecurity awareness and practices for individuals, small businesses, seniors—really anyone who uses a phone or computer. They’re open to the public and we encourage anyone within about an hour’s drive from the venue to consider joining.

Each event is split into two sections – morning and afternoon. Individuals can join one session or both. The morning includes passwords, multifactor authentication, software updates, and browser safety. The afternoon includes phishing, social media, and working remotely.
