💙 SERVE Spotlight Week: Accounting & Finance 💙

This week we’re proud to celebrate our Accounting & Finance team! The behind-the-scenes heroes who truly serve everyone at GMC!

From Payroll to Accounts Payable, this dedicated team keeps GMC running smoothly every single day. They ensure our staff are paid on time and accurately, vendors are paid promptly so our teams have the supplies and equipment needed to care for patients, and that our community partners receive the support GMC proudly provides.

Accounting & Finance also prepares financial statements for the CFO and Board of Directors, files IRS tax forms, submits the cost report, and completes annual audits for our 401k, fiscal year financials and protect the financial health and future of GMC.

Their work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact is felt everywhere. Thank you for your accuracy, dedication, and commitment to excellence. We appreciate all you do! 👏💰

Introducing a new resource for mental health in Dawson County.

A new year is a time for fresh starts—and we have something good to share. 💙

As we welcome 2026, this page is being converted to the new home of the Bridge the Gap Coalition, Dawson County’s newly formed mental health coalition.

Bridge the Gap Coalition brings together local partners, organizations, and community members who care deeply about improving mental health, strengthening connection, and closing gaps in support across our rural community.

This page will now be a place to:

👉Share mental health resources and local supports

👉Highlight community events and awareness efforts

👉Promote education, prevention, and wellness

👉Encourage open, stigma-free conversations

If mental health matters to you—or someone you love—you belong here. Follow along, join the conversation, and help us build a stronger, healthier Dawson County together.

Here’s to a new year focused on connection, compassion, and community. 💫

Today at GMC, we’re celebrating an incredible milestone! 💙

Ann Mills is celebrating 2 years on oral chemotherapy. She was originally diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and has been on various treatments since then. Over the years, many of us at GMC have had the privilege of getting to know Ann and witness her strength, resilience, and determination firsthand. Today, we honor her perseverance and continued fight against cancer and we’re proud to celebrate this milestone with her. 💪🎉

🎉 Celebrating Strength & Resilience 🎉
Today we celebrate Nancy Nelson, who proudly rang our GMC Cancer Bell after completing her 42nd cycle of maintenance chemotherapy. The Cancer Bell is a new addition at GMC, rung to honor patients who are succeeding in their cancer treatments and reaching meaningful milestones along their journey.

Nancy began her cancer journey with us on November 21, 2023, and is a familiar face in the GMC Outpatient Chemotherapy Department, coming in twice a week every other week.

Nancy always greets everyone with a smile and a positive attitude. Her courage, determination, and resilience inspire our entire team, and we are honored to walk alongside her as she continues her fight.

Way to go, Nancy! You are truly an inspiration! 💙🔔💪
