Today, we pause to remember September 11th. It’s been 24 years, yet the pain of that morning is still deeply felt. It’s something that some of us lived through, and remember exactly what we were doing when the news broke, and some just study it in the history books. We honor the thousands of lives lost that day, the heroes who ran toward danger, and the many more who continue to lose their lives from the lasting effects of that horrific day. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

We also lift up prayers for the families impacted by the tragic Evergreen High School shooting in Colorado, and for Charlie Kirk’s family as they walk through this difficult time. May they find strength and comfort.

In moments like these, we are reminded that despite our differences, we must come together as one nation. Our differences in opinions and views make us unique — not wrong. Above all, we must learn to value life more deeply, to cherish every day we are given, and to treat one another with compassion and respect no matter what.

Your service saves lives, and your commitment inspires us all. We see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you!

On behalf of the Glendo Volunteer Ambulance Services, we would like to thank a couple businesses that helped with our Ambulance.
First we would like to thank Steve with A1 Towing in Douglas, Steve is our go to person when we have to tow the Ambulance. Steve called and said since we are a volunteer service he donated his tow service free of charge to get the ambulance to the repair shop.
Second we would like to thank Shawns Shop LLC in Douglas. Shawn was able to diagnose and get a new engine into the Ambulance. Shawn donated all labor and time in doing this for our service.
Third we would like to thank Jeston Cundall, local resident of Glendo and who is also on the Town Council. When Jeston heard what happed, he was on the phone right away and found a solution to our problem. We are so thankful for Jeston for his support.
It's great to have people and businesses that give to our service that helps make us continue what we love to do and that is to Volunteer to our area.
Thank you again Jeston, Steve, and Shawn!!!!!
