Sciatica is curable, so as the lower back pain, they are more or less from the same spot. The most popular point is L5, S1. I have many patients is ok after 8 to 12 sessions treatment. I practice I Ching Acupuncture for 23 years, I have seen a lot of patients with shoulder pain. It is easy to get confused from cervical syndrome to shoulder issues. If the patient cannot raise their shoulder, it will cause a lot of pain if you force it. Then it’s the shoulder pain. If they have no problem raising the shoulder but feel the pain between shoulder and neck, feel weakness in the arm or tingling and pain in the arm and hand, also feel the headache. Then they have a cervical problem. Don’t treat them wrong.
