Dr. Aly pioneered the field of body contouring after massive weight loss and edited the first and definitive textbook on this subject. He has lectured and/or performed surgical demonstrations in over 20 countrie
s and is considered as one of the world's foremost authorities on plastic surgery after massive weight loss. Dr. Aly is a section editor for the Aesthetic Surgery Journal and associate editor for the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Journal, two of the most prestigious journals in plastic surgery. He is the Editor-in-chief of the Plastic Surgery Education Network (PSEN), which is designed to be the largest online educational portal for plastic surgeons in the world. Dr. Aly has received the 'Lockwood Award', the most prestigious award given by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery to surgeons that have made major contributions to the field of body contouring. Although well known for body contouring, Dr. Aly also has expertise in cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, ears and breasts. We are also fully functioning med-spa with 3 R.N.'s (Registered Nurses) to perform laser treatments such as laser hair removal, laser vein remova for spider veins, photofacials for brown spots like sun damage and red spots such as rosacea and facial veins.
