Every baby deserves a safe and peaceful night’s rest. These simple steps can reduce the risk of sleep-related infant deaths:

Alone — Baby sleeps alone, but in the same room as parents.
Back — Always place baby on their back to sleep.
Crib — Use a firm, flat sleep surface free of blankets, pillows, or toys.
Don’t Smoke — Keep baby’s environment smoke-free.

When the last page is turned, the story doesn’t have to end.

Invite your child to tell it back in their own words, or even change a part of it. You’ll see their imagination shine while they practice remembering details, expressing ideas, and building confidence in speaking.

It's Noteworthy Wednesday!
Sensory play isn’t just fun-it’s essential for early childhood development. Ms. Fania does an incredible job providing a variety of sensory materials for her children to explore. Pictured below include ice, soapy water with washcloths, and cornmeal. Sensory-rich activities help children build fine motor skills, improve engagement, and spark curiosity.

Let them explore, get messy, and learn through their senses, because that’s how little minds grow big ideas!

We’ve received a few messages letting us know that a couple of pages on our website, challengingbehavior.org, aren’t working quite right. Thank you so much for reaching out — we really appreciate your patience and support!

Our team is already working behind the scenes to fix those issues so we can continue bringing you the helpful resources you know and love.

In the meantime, why not spend a little time with Suri the Spider? Her story is available in several languages, and it’s a great way to stay connected while we tidy things up.

When the holiday stress hits, try 4-7-8 breathing. Breathing is an essential act that requires no thought. But thinking about it can alter your physical and mental health. It can relieve stress and anxiety or help you wind down and fall asleep. Here’s how to do it:
