It has been a while since I have posted anything. But business has been up and down through the whole Covid situation. But finally, things are looking up. People are starting to feel more hopeful and want to get out and do more things. And have realized how much strength they have lost over these last 3 years. I personally have had many health challenges. But looking forward to a better year and hopefully enjoying the summer.

Glad that 2020 is over! 2021 has been a rebound year for me and EVERYONE! But I have made it through the storm by the faith and patronage of my loyal clients. And many new ones! I have enjoyed bringing new and creative exercises to many people who have wanted a in home customized approach to their exercises and balance activities. Looking forward to maintaining and adding to my business family!!

2020 has been hard on all of us! That is an understatement! Small businesses like my own fall into no category for help. So all the help that I finally got was very prolonged. But I am extremely thankful for the loyalty and generosity of my core clients that stuck it out with me. I would not still be in business without you. Things have picked up. But now slowing down again and not so much because of Covid but because people have gotten better ;) Going into this winter will be very important to keep our spirits up and keep our bodies moving. Mine included!! I made the choice to stick with my business instead of continuing with Perdiem work in the nursing homes because of Covid. Which was a good choice. But the isolation for me is as difficult as it is for my clients. I can only imagine how bad it is for residents in the nursing homes. We will get through this with consistency and hope. Doing our own part in keeping each other safe. But most of all limiting ourselves of the negativity that is out there. We can only take one day at a time but prepare for a better future. Try not to get caught up in the daily numbers that do not directly effect you. Be aware and diligent but not panic. You can not change other people just your own actions. Those are hard words to live by, but that is what I am trying to do, to keep myself sane! Sooo in closing I am still in business and always looking for more clients!!! I am doing my best to limit my life (which is not hard) for my clients. To keep safe for for my clients. Lets keep moving through the winter so in the spring we can go out and be ready to enjoy it!!!

As a small business without any employee's in this uncertain time with Covid 19, has been such a struggle. Since my business deals with the older population that also has been extremely difficult to navigate. I lost 75% of my business at one point. Slowly I have gained a few back. And this week I actually had the first NEW client since December 2019. So I am feeling slightly hopeful now. But I am preparing myself for the future and possibility of not being able to continue with this business that I have worked so hard for. I am taking a class to do Medical Billing and Coding, so that I can have a back up plan that can be done anywhere. I have also taken 2 other major continuing education classes. Teleheath and dealing with clients with anxiety. As well as Group Exercise Specialist. So I have been keeping busy. As well as gardening of course!! But I am still seeing people with PPE and doing as much outside as possible! I have tested negative twice and have limited my life even more than usual for my beloved clients! So if anyone out there needs help with exercises and balance activities or pain control. Here I am In the Albany area ready to see you!!

I have not been posting here on Facebook because my life has been crazy. In a good way.Building my business through other mediums has kept me very busy. I am slightly slower at the moment and have room on my schedule for a few more people. I am so thankful to have such faithful clients who I enjoy making their day brighter with a little exercise. After almost 4 years in business it is such a great feeling to know that there is a need for this kind of business. And I am filling that need, ever so slightly. As insurance rules become tighter. The need for a home based trainer for Seniors will only grow. And I am proud to say that I am a pioneer in the field.

Hello everyone! I realize it has been awhile since I have written anything on here. I have been extremely BUSY!Yah!
In other good news the stretches and adaptations in my life have helped my tennis elbow. So it works!!!!
Ok. a stretch for the day! This is something that seems simple but as we get older gets harder to maintain. Simply sit up real straight or even better stand up against the wall. Tuck your chin like you are holding a tennis ball between your chin and chest. Then push the back od your head toward the wall untill you feel the stretch. your goal is to touch the wall. And if you can touch the wall push gently into the wall for resistance. hold 5 sec repeat 10 times. This will stretch and strengthen the back of your neck after all the computer work and driving we do today.

I am so thankful to my loyal customers!! And my new ones as well!!
As I am struggling with epicondylitis or Tennis elbow and golfers elbow from all of the caring of equipment that I am doing. Plus living on the second floor having to carry things up and down every time I come home and leave. The stretch of the day is easy but effective for this painful condition.
Stretch your effected arm straight out in front of you, flex your wrist up, keeping your elbow STRAIGHT! Gently take your other hand and pull your hand/fingers back until you feel a stretch. Hold 10- 15 secs relax repeat x 10. Then pull your wrist in the down position and gently pull your wrist down by putting pressure on your effected knuckles. again hold 10-15 secs x 10 reps. One of these stretches will "hurt" more then the other, that is the one you want to concentrate on. I recommend lots of ice on the effected elbow. The most effective method is an ice massage. Use an ice cube and massage it over you elbow for 2 min or until the area is frozen. That means you have to go past the painful point until numb. Doing this 3-4 times a day helps decrease the inflammation process. You also could use an ice pack but that takes 15-20 min to get completely numb. You have to be consistent to be effective!!!!!! This is hard to treat
