I am so thankful to my loyal customers!! And my new ones as well!!
As I am struggling with epicondylitis or Tennis elbow and golfers elbow from all of the caring of equipment that I am doing. Plus living on the second floor having to carry things up and down every time I come home and leave. The stretch of the day is easy but effective for this painful condition.
Stretch your effected arm straight out in front of you, flex your wrist up, keeping your elbow STRAIGHT! Gently take your other hand and pull your hand/fingers back until you feel a stretch. Hold 10- 15 secs relax repeat x 10. Then pull your wrist in the down position and gently pull your wrist down by putting pressure on your effected knuckles. again hold 10-15 secs x 10 reps. One of these stretches will "hurt" more then the other, that is the one you want to concentrate on. I recommend lots of ice on the effected elbow. The most effective method is an ice massage. Use an ice cube and massage it over you elbow for 2 min or until the area is frozen. That means you have to go past the painful point until numb. Doing this 3-4 times a day helps decrease the inflammation process. You also could use an ice pack but that takes 15-20 min to get completely numb. You have to be consistent to be effective!!!!!! This is hard to treat
