Suma Home Healthcare was started by a caring nursing team who wanted to help people recuperate at home after surgery or major illness. We aim to provide quality patient care in a compassionate and ethical manner while encouraging a lifestyle of independence. We start with a patient assessment and follow through, with directing the Home Care program every step of the way until the patient is discharged. We work closely with the patient to develop a care plan that is tailored to the patient's special needs. Our assessors may review subsidization possibilities, develop Care Plans, make referrals and arrange for Service Delivery Schedules according to the clients' wishes. The very concept of Home Care is one that is rooted in the most basic human need - that of independence, familiar surroundings and the companionship of caring individuals. Our values are simple, we strive to offer excellent and affordable home health care and community-based social services to individuals and families of the Delaware Valley and its adjacency county’s in Pennsylvania. We are committed to match clients with capable, experienced, dependable and honest care givers. We guarantee our clients compatibility with the care givers that we provide. Each care giver goes through a background check and for our clients peace of mind we insure all our care givers with PA workers compensation and professional liability insurance. It is our goal to employ competent, caring, and well-trained individuals who are responsive to the needs of our patients, their families, and the communities we serve. Each staff member will meet the State of Pennsylvania educational and training requirements for the services we provide. We encourage and support continued education of each service provider. Services are offered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays.
