Marriage and Family Therapy Intern

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at North Central University, where I have gained a solid foundation in systemic theories and evidence-based practices.

My approach to therapy is collaborative and strength-based, focusing on empowering clients to navigate challenges and enhance their relationships. I have experience working with diverse populations and addressing a wide range of issues, including communication difficulties, conflict resolution, intimacy concerns, and family dynamics.

In addition to my academic training, I bring empathy, cultural humility, and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. I am dedicated to ongoing learning and professional growth, and I am excited about the opportunity to support individuals and families on their journey towards healing and resilience.

I just finished reading this book. It is rich with valuable information, relatable real life stories, and most importantly- solutions. The biggest takeaway was on “mattering” and how that can buffer our young people from pressure, anxiety, loneliness and more. It is also applicable to us adults too. The website below has great resources, including toolkits for teachers, parents and students. I am grateful for this work and would highly recommend it.
