MEMBER NEWS: Turning Leaf Counseling Svcs Expands Services with New Location and Dedicated Team

Turning Leaf Counseling, a leading provider of holistic and supportive therapy services, announces the opening of its newly renovated space in downtown Glens Falls. Since its founding in 2017, the practice has grown into a thriving organization with a team of 14 clinicians, including eight licensed professionals, four clinicians in residency programs, and two interns.

“We’ve worked hard to create a place where our clients feel supported, relaxed, and at ease,” says Gleason. “The feedback we’ve received about the new office space has been overwhelmingly positive, and we’re excited to continue expanding our services to meet the needs of the community.”

Turning Leaf specializes in supporting individuals through a variety of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. The team works with individuals of all ages—including children, teens, adults, as well as families and couples—and offers personalized care through a variety of therapeutic modalities based on client needs. Clinicians are continuously developing their skills, collaborating with community agencies, and offering innovative approaches to therapy.

“What sets Turning Leaf apart is its prompt and responsive approach to client care,” says Gleason. “We prioritize a quick response to referrals and intake calls, so clients can get the support they need as soon as possible,” she explains. “Our goal is to minimize waitlists and make the process of starting therapy as simple and seamless as possible.”

Turning Leaf’s new location is conveniently located in downtown Glens Falls, offering easy access for clients, including those who rely on public transportation. In addition to its expanded space in Glens Falls, Turning Leaf has a satellite office in Chestertown, in collaboration with the Town of Chester, to serve rural communities with much-needed mental health services.

Looking ahead, the practice has forthcoming plans to introduce fresh, unique, and innovative therapeutic approaches designed to enhance client care even further. The team at Turning Leaf is committed to fostering a supportive and empowering environment for clients, clinicians, and the community.
