Had a great time at the AAPSM Stand Alone Sports Medicine Meeting in Arizona! Such an amazing meeting, always with great practical but high level information you can learn and start applying immediately! The morning shoe testing a group runs are always a highlight!! I was also honored to receive an award as Past President! my time on the executive board of the taught me a lot, I gathered so many great colleges and mentors, and am proud to have been involved in the organization, and hope to continue to contribute in the future! It was also wonderful to see so many of our students at the meeting!

Thanks to for hosting an evening for the student chapter members at their store in Delco to learn about shoe fitting, gait assessment, and to check out some of the current shoes on the market! Knowledge of running shoes is an important part of becoming a sports medicine podiatrist!

New School Year Welcome Meeting for the Sports Medicine Club! Which is the Temple Chapter of the AAPSM! I had the honor of presenting at the first club meeting of the year, talking about how to become a sports medicine podiatrist, discussing different type of sports medicine practices, the importance of the sports medicine team, and the student benefits for joining the AAPSM (American academy of Podiatric sports medicine)

Day 2 at the National meeting!! Today was the Sports Medicine track! I had the honor of serving as moderator for this track! Which include speaking on Pickleball Injuries, speaking on The Biomechanics of Golf an I spoke about Turf Toe Injuries. We finished the session with a Panel Discussion on Pediatric Sports Injury Prevention and the negative impacts of early Sports specialization!

Day 1 of the National meeting! Today I represented the during the APMA Affiliates Showcase, speaking on "The Importance of the Foot Core" which are the small intrinsic muscles of your foot, discussing why those muscles are important and how and why they should be addressed in regard to lower extremity injury treatment and prevention! I also spoke to attendees at the booth in the exhibit hall/PodExpo! If you are at the APMA national, don't forget to visit booth 639 for more info....and candy! I also got to spend time with some amazing women from the and found myself running in the Meeting magazine! Lol! It was an honor to represent the AAPSM! Looking forward to more PodFun tomorrow!

I will be presenting 2 lectures at the National! I will be representing The during the APMA Affiliate Showcase, discussing "The Emerging Importance of Addressing the Foot Core" on Thursday July 24th and then on Friday the 25th I will be serving as the Track leader for the "Sports Medicine Track" where I will also be lecturing on "An Evidence Based Approach to treating 1st MTPJ injuries (turf toe) in Athletes" and will be a participate in a panel discussion along side 2 other AAPSM Fellows on "The Price of Play: Pediatric Sports Injury Prevention"
