A colleague recently shared this study with me. In this randomized controlled clinical trial, investigators found that a regimen of intensive lifestyle modifications (namely, a whole-food plant-based diet, regular exercise, and stress management) significantly improved cognition and mental function in a group of patients with Alzheimer's Disease (AD). This study was also highlighted in a documentary called "The Last Alzheimer's Patient." I highly recommend sharing this with anyone you know who may be suffering from dementia.
