What a wonderful week it has been at Glenville Health & Rehabilitation! ❤️

From residents attending the “Lemonade Wars” at Gilmer County Elementary School, to the behind-the-scenes dedication of our amazing staff, there were smiles everywhere you looked. Dory even got the chance to hold a real live hoppy toad! 🐸

We also enjoyed a special visit from the Gilmer County High School Graduating Class of 2026 as they walked through our halls, bringing back memories for many residents of their own school days and dreams for the future. And one especially meaningful moment this week was Donnie being baptized again — a beautiful reminder of faith, hope, and new beginnings.

One thing is for sure — there were plenty of terrific moments shared this week at Glenville Health & Rehabilitation!

🌱🌩️Resident Rob Wilfong spent some time today trying out his green thumb by planting lettuce and enjoying some fresh air on this dreary day. Even with the gloomy weather, a little gardening and time outside helped brighten the day!

What a heartwarming moment! 🎓 Our residents were absolutely delighted when the graduating seniors from Gilmer County High School visited us in their caps and gowns. The joy and excitement in the hallways was truly infectious as these bright young graduates took time to connect with our residents.

To the class of 2026 - congratulations on this incredible achievement! We're so proud of your accomplishment and grateful you chose to celebrate with us. Wishing you all the success and happiness as you embark on your next chapter! ✨

What a beautiful and blessed moment at Glenville Health and Rehab! ❤️🙏

Donald “Donnie” Johnson was feeling the spirit move and made the decision to be baptized again. Although Donnie had been baptized before, he felt called to renew his faith, and Pastor Tony Drennen happily obliged. Woody McCullough was also there to share in this very special occasion.

We are so thankful to Tony and Woody for taking the time to make this meaningful moment possible for Donnie. Your kindness, faith, and support are truly appreciated — and Donnie appreciates you both so very much!

Congratulations, Donnie, on this special day filled with faith, love, and blessings. ✝️💙

Residents at Glenville Health and Rehab soaked up the sunshine and enjoyed some fresh air today! 🌞🌱 From planting flowers to watering plants, everyone had a wonderful time outdoors enjoying the beautiful weather.

Miss Dorey even had an exciting surprise when she got her hands on a hoppy little toad! 🐸💚 Smiles, laughter, and sunshine made for a perfect day at Glenville Health and Rehab!

Some days, the smiles and connections around our building say it all 💚 Today, DON Sierra Beall and resident Christina Naturale showed up twinning in their bright green outfits, and it was too sweet not to share!

Moments like these are such a reminder that the bonds between our residents and staff go far beyond caregiving — they become friendships, laughter, inside jokes, and little memories that brighten everyone’s day. It’s the closeness, love, and family atmosphere here that make our home so special.

Safe to say Sierra and Christina definitely won “dressed as twins” today! 💚

Some goodbyes are harder than others, and while it’s never easy to see one of our residents leave, today’s goodbye was filled with happiness, pride, and so much love. Today, we celebrated a successful discharge for Jimmie McHenry as he regained his strength and returned home.

Over time, Jimmie became more than just a resident — he became part of our family. From daily conversations and laughter to the small moments that turn into lasting memories, he left a mark on the hearts of so many staff members who had the privilege of caring for him. Watching his strength, determination, and progress has been nothing short of inspiring.

There were many hugs, smiles, and emotional embraces today as staff gathered to send Jimmie off with love and well wishes. While we will deeply miss seeing him each day, there is truly no greater joy than watching someone work hard, heal, and finally return home where they belong.

Jimmie, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. We are so proud of you and wish you endless happiness, good health, and beautiful days ahead. Once part of our family, always part of our family. ❤️

A huge thank you to Gilmer County Elementary School for inviting the residents and staff of Glenville Health and Rehabilitation to their amazing “Lemonade Wars” event! 🍋☀️

The students did such a wonderful job setting up their little lemonade stands under colorful canopies, each one filled with creativity and personality. From sour to sweet lemonade flavors, cute little umbrellas, tiny duckies, homemade cookies, and bags of chips — this event truly had something for everyone!

Our residents absolutely loved getting out into the sunshine for a little stroll and seeing all the children proudly showing off their hard work and creativity. The smiles, laughter, and warm community spirit made the day extra special.

Thank you again to Gilmer County Elementary School for including us, and thank you to all of the students and staff who worked so hard to make “Lemonade Wars” such a fun and memorable event. We truly enjoyed the trip! 💛🍋

We want to take a moment to recognize the heart, hustle, and teamwork that make our night shift so strong.

Our night shift crew continues to show what it means to keep things running smoothly when the rest of the world is winding down. From staying focused during the late hours to supporting one another through every task, you all bring consistency, resilience, and pride to your work every single night. We are truly grateful for everything you do.

Thank you to our entire night shift team for everything you do. You are seen, you are valued, and you are deeply appreciated. 🌸

A special shout-out goes to our Housekeeping Manager William Duncan for stepping up to grill fresh food for our night shift. That kind of commitment doesn’t go unnoticed—it sets the tone for what teamwork really looks like.

Sunshine, smiles, and a little friendly competition made for the PERFECT Friday for our Moments in Bloom celebration! 🌸☀️🎉

We fired up the grill, tossed some water balloons or (even dumped buckets of water on some), battled it out in table tic tac toe and connect four and shared lots of laughs during corn hole games with the residents! 🌭💦

This week was full of blooming memories, sweet moments, and FUN from start to finish. We loved celebrating together and soaking up every minute of it! 💐❤️
