Want to know one of the hardest parts of running a small business?
Last-minute cancellations.
Please know — I’m human, and I truly understand that life happens. Emergencies come up, kids get sick, schedules change, and sometimes things are simply out of our control.
But here’s the reality most people don’t see: when an appointment is canceled- especially last minute and I’m unable to fill that spot, I make $0 for that time reserved. For a service, that’s 1 hour to 1.5 hours.
I always try to lead with grace and understanding, but as a small business owner, I also have to protect my livelihood and the time I’ve set aside specifically for you.
I truly appreciate your love and support and for choosing me. ❤️
This is just a friendly reminder of Therapeutic Massage by Aprils cancellation policy that is written at the bottom of confirmation appointment emails that you receive every time you book an appointment. 👇🏻
“I understand that life happens and that there may be a time in which you will need to reschedule an appointment.
In order to protect my business and continue providing the best possible scheduling options to my clients, I will require a 24 hour notice should you need to cancel or reschedule your visit with me.
Should you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a 50$ cancelation fee will be required before another service is scheduled.
Thank you for your support and understanding.”
