FINAL COUNT is 600 pairs of sneakers! 2nd mailing to GotSneakers, a zero-waste sneaker recycling social enterprise; MVDS will receive funds in compensation for the collected sneakers. Those funds will benefit the 3 MVDS Day Programs!

Hand Made by MVDS! COGives is in full swing and by donating now to Dec. 9th they will all count toward Colorado Gives Day and the $1 million+ Incentive Fund, which gives us extra funding. 600 pairs of sneakers! Still have a few more to collect but definitely reached our goal of 500 pairs! Biggest size 15; smallest size 2. Many thanks to our partners and the MVDS crew who helped bag and count the collection! Raising funds for Day Programs and keeping sneakers out of landfill!!

Just looking at our sneakers at the GWS Day Program before tomorrow, the LAST DAY of the Sneaker Drive! We are now at 350 pairs of gently used sneakers. Saving this well-loved pair from the landfill! We have collected over 275 pairs of sneakers now, with 4 days left to make a donation and support the MVDS Day Programs in Silt, Minturn and Glenwood Springs. Unfortunately, this pair will not generate a donation from GotSneakers, but we have so many more that will! Nov. 11th deadline at 8 drop off locations including AHS Appreciation Club. MVDS office will be open on Tuesday...
