Guidelines and recommendations for accessing your prescriptions or getting them transferred to Woodard Drug.

First and foremost:
YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS = YOUR CHOICE

If you want to use Woodard Drug:
1. Tell your doctor: “Please send my prescriptions to Woodard Drug.”
2. Or call us at 870-356-2193 and we’ll contact your doctor for you.
3. Bring/confirm: insurance card, allergies, and your medication list so we can move fast.
4. Need something today? Call—we’ll prioritize urgent meds.
5. Controlled meds note: Some medications (especially controlled substances) can’t be transferred once they’ve been moved; a new prescription may be required. We’ll guide you.

I’ve served this community for 13+ years because I love it—and you. If you weren’t given a choice or weren’t notified, I hear your frustration. You do have a choice, and we would be honored to welcome you and take care of all your pharmacy needs—start to finish.

My name is Bryna Criswell and I’m proud to call Glenwood and the surrounding communities home.

As a graduate of Mount Ida High School, I’ve had the privilege of building my career right here where my roots run deep. After high school, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas, and then graduated Pharmacy School in 2011 from UAMS College of Pharmacy.

I began my pharmacy career at Mena Regional Hospital, but quickly realized serving the public through community pharmacy was my calling. Since December of 2012, I’ve been serving patients at Woodard Drug.
In 2016, I purchased Woodard Drug from Wayne and Maryetta Padgett. For the past 13 years, I’ve been blessed to care for the people and some dear pets of this community.

I share my story because it’s intertwined with yours- my commitment to this town, to the families I’ve come to know and care for, and to the patients who place their trust in us every day. Serving this community isn’t just my profession; it’s my passion and my purpose.

With the changes happening in our local pharmacies, I want to remind everyone that you DO have a choice in where to fill your prescriptions and who you trust with your healthcare.

At Woodard Drug, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing exceptional service, personalized care, and the attention to detail that comes from truly knowing and caring about each person we serve. If your current pharmacy is closing or you are considering a change, please know that we are here, ready to help in any way we can. Please don’t hesitate to contact us for prescription transfers, medication consultations, or any questions you may have. We’re here to support you and ensure the care of our community.
