An important message for Phil's Pharmacy customers!!
In April 1974, Phil and Mary Buck opened the doors of Phil's Pharmacy, located in downtown Glenwood, Ar. Many of you also remember when the location opened across from Sonic in 1997. From the very beginning, Phil's Pharmacy was never "just a business," it was a calling rooted in family and community. Phil became a pharmacist when his children, Jimmie and Sandra, were young. With Mary working hard to ensure Phil was able to complete Pharmacy School, after Phil's father had passed away at only 47 from kidney disease, they built something together that has lasted more than 50 years. Phil loved his patients dearly, going down after hours, making extra trips, and treating everyone who walked through the doors like family. The roots of Phil's Pharmacy run deep in Glenwood. Like a tree, these roots grew strong, branching out over the years to touch the lives of countless families. Jimmie followed in his father's footsteps as a pharmacist and began his own pharmacy, before retiring and selling to Kyle Harvey, who is now the owner of Buck's Pharmacy. Sandra found her talents and passion to be in gifts and antiques and has also worked side by side with Phil's Pharmacy for many years. Now, after more than five decades of service, the time has come to pass the torch. Phil's Pharmacy has officially been sold to Buck's Pharmacy, owned by Kyle Harvey. In a very special way, it feels like things have come full circle. Kyle Harvey is a young, personable, and professional individual, in which we feel fully confident in continuing to serve you all and begin this new journey with you all. Please visit Buck's Pharmacy at 408 North First St. in Glenwood, Ar, for your upcoming prescriptions. All prescriptions have been transferred there, and they have an awesome, professional staff, along with some familiar faces as well. The Buck family and Kyle are excited about this new chapter and Kyle and his staff are looking forward to serving each and everyone of you for years to come!!
