Meet Robert, Haven of Globe's April Resident of the Month!

Robert was born in Douglas, AZ, and is one of four children. He is the proud father of four children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Robert proudly served in the USMC for four years. During his service, he was Chief of the Amphibian Tractor Battalion in Vietnam in the late 1960s, and later retired as a natural gas construction supervisor.

Robert has a passion for restoring old vehicles. Today, he enjoys participating in activities at Haven, spending time outdoors with his wife, and watching TV and movies. One thing Robert wants everyone to know about him is: heā€™s all about Jesusā€”and Jesus loves you! (John 3:16)

We are so glad to have Robert as part of our Haven family!

Meet Johnny, Haven of Globe's March Resident of the Month!

Johnny was born in Deming, New Mexico, where he first worked as a gas station attendant before answering the call to serve his country. He proudly served 13 years in the United States Navy, stationed in Long Beach, California, and had the opportunity to visit beautiful places like Hawaii, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Peleliu Islands along the way.

Johnny is a father to two boys and two girls; he is also a proud grandfather. Though heā€™s a quiet man, he enjoys building model cars and simply ā€œhanging out.ā€ He takes part in a few of the activities here at Haven and shares that he thinks everyone is nice.

We are so glad to have Johnny as part of our Haven family!
