Big shoutout to the Ambulnz Delaware team who apparently decided sleep is optional.

Stayed over their shift.

Came in early.

Cleared the parking lot.

Cleared the trucks.

All before most of us even finished our first cup of coffee. ☕👏

Because of them, nobody got to use “the lot was icy” as an excuse this morning. Bold move, honestly.

That’s teamwork. That’s dedication. That’s “we’ll handle it” energy. 💪🚑 We see you, we appreciate you!

Every morning, Nkenge walks in with a huge smile and makes sure everyone gets a fist bump. 👊

Nkenge has been part of our Ambulnz PA team for 1.5 years as an EMS Driver and has recently earned his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification — a major milestone we’re incredibly proud of!

What he enjoys most about the job? Working alongside his coworkers, meeting our business partners, and caring for our patients.

Nkenge truly lights up every room he walks into. We’re grateful to have him on our team, and he’s an example we all strive to be. We’re looking forward to many more fist bumps and plenty of his signature wit and humor.

🚑 Above and Beyond the Call 🚑

On August 25 while returning from a call, EMTs Margaret Young and Carsen Begley came upon an unexpected medical emergency while traveling along the Boulevard in Philadelphia.

The crew discovered a pedestrian who had been the victim of a hit-and-run and was suffering from severe, life-threatening injuries. Without hesitation, they stopped, immediately rendered emergency care, and initiated lifesaving interventions.

Recognizing the patient’s critical condition, the EMTs rapidly transported them to the nearest trauma center, providing continuous care and stabilization efforts en route — ultimately keeping the patient alive.
After a lengthy hospital stay, we are proud to share that the patient made a remarkable recovery and has since been discharged.

This incident is a powerful reminder that our crews remain ready at all times! We are incredibly proud of Margaret and Carsen for their professionalism, quick thinking, and dedication to patient care!
