The Crossroads Companies wants to make awareness for National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month even though we believe that every day and month should make mental health an importance. The month aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness, particularly within minority communities, and to increase access to mental health resources and culturally competent care.
National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month was officially recognized in 2008, following the efforts of Bebe Moore Campbell and others who advocated for increased awareness and support for minority mental health.
Organizations and individuals participate in various activities throughout July, including educational campaigns, community events, and sharing personal stories to promote dialogue and understanding.

We’re excited to share that we have officially obtained our Outpatient Mental Health License.
This expansion allows us to serve clients with a broader range of mental health needs in an outpatient setting. Effective immediately, we are accepting referrals for individuals who require therapy, counseling, and supportive mental health services.
If you have any questions about our offerings or referral process or would like to coordinate care, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help and committed to providing high-quality, compassionate support to our shared communities.

Yesterday was our Employee Appreciation BBQ. We were able to enjoy food, see coworkers from other facilities, have staff awards and watch Michael Karl, a mentalist, perform in front of our staff. Thank you to everyone's hard work in setting up the event, and thank you to our staff for all their hard work daily.
