Congratulations to the staff of Bay Aging's Gloucester Adult Day Care (GADC) on passing an Infection Prevention and Control Assessment with flying colors! Inspectors from the Virginia Department of Social Services Division of Licensing Programs recently visited the facility and complimented Jordan Heaton, Director of Gloucester Adult Day Care, and her team on their infectious disease precautions. They also remarked on how clean and well organized the facility is. Bay Aging is proud of our employees’ ongoing efforts to ensure the health and safety of our clients. We invite you to join us for our monthly caregiver support group today at 4:30pm!

Are you a caregiver for a friend or family member? Bay Aging invites you to join our free caregiver support group in Gloucester. We meet at 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, about a quarter mile from the Food Lion. The next meeting is May 11. Attendees will mask, social distance, and have a temperature check. Our professional staff will look after your loved one while we meet. If you have not participated before, give us a call at 800-493-0238 to sign up and get details. Excellent Part-Time Opportunity for School Bus Drivers!

Bay Transit is seeking part-time trolley drivers for weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Requires excellent driving records and customer service skills.

Please submit your Motor Vehicle Record with your application. You must have a valid Virginia CDL with a passenger endorsement, high school diploma or GED required, and be at least twenty-one years of age. A DOT physical is required. You will be reimbursed for the cost of the physical if you are hired. $16.50/hour

We received a wonderful donation from Rebecca Visner and her sweet mom today! This cat is made by a company called Joy for All, she has realistic features such as soft fur, meows when you rub her, and rolls over for tummy rubs. Our clients have decided to name her Mittens! What joy Rebecca and her mom brought to us today! ❤️

Bay Aging’s administrative offices are closed today, February 21, in observance of Presidents Day. Our transit division remains open and Bay Transit buses are operating on their usual schedule. Gloucester Adult Day Care and Bay Aging Active Living Centers are open today. Our Home Care aides are on duty and will visit clients as scheduled.
