Today was a bittersweet one for Anchor Seal... A valued member of our work family has flown the coop to a new opportunity! We would like to congratulate 13-year employee Dan Elario on his exciting new position and thank him for the many, many contributions he has made to Anchor Seal over the years!!! While he will be missed, we know he will be super successful. Way to go, Dan!!!!

Rhooke will be celebrating his 10-year anniversary with the company in September, and we are confident he will do a fantastic job leading the team. We wish him all the best in his new role!

Greetings loyal Anchor Seal friends and customers! We will unfortunately be discontinuing our fabulous isopropyl alcohol based hand sanitizer as of tomorrow 12/31/20 as a result of a fee that FDA has just assessed to temporary manufacturers of hand sanitizer to the tune of over $14,000. Small businesses that stepped up during the pandemic to help with hand sanitizer supply just received word yesterday of this fee. It has been our pleasure to assist with the PPE supply chain during these unprecedented times. We are proud of the product we produced, and the efforts of our staff to quickly step up and roll out this new product. We will make one more drum and package it in gallon jugs with misting pumps, so if anyone needs to stock up for their business or home, please call our office at 978.515.6004 and place your order TODAY. Thank you all for your continued patronage and support for our small business! The team at Anchor Seal would like to wish you and yours a safe and very happy Thanksgiving holiday!

We are grateful to our loyal customers, our vendors who have continued to come through for us during challenging times, and our amazing team of hard-working and kind-hearted employees.

In the spirit of giving, our team raised enough money last month to buy Thanksgiving dinner for 19 families - 152 lbs of food - donated through Beverly Bootstraps.

October is National Manufacturing Month! As we wrap up this month, Anchor Seal would like to give a big shout out to all of the other manufacturers in Massachusetts and throughout the US. Did you know manufacturing comprises over 10% of the Massachusetts economy, and that about 250,000 people work in manufacturing in the Commonwealth? Anchor Seal is a proud member of the manufacturing community, especially this year when we, and so many of our counterparts, have pivoted part of our business to help produce materials needed during the pandemic. Anchor Seal Gives Back continues... Our employee Bryan chose Beverly Bootstraps in Beverly, MA as the recipient of a hand sanitizer donation for the month of August (Yes, we are late posting...). He chose this wonderful organization in his community because they provide educational opportunities to adults needing additional training, food assistance, and comprehensive resource support, all with the goal of helping individuals and families achieve self-sufficiency. Thank you Beverly Bootstraps for the terrific work you do!

Anchor Seal Gives Back! Each month an employee will be chosen at random. That employee will select a local non-profit organization to receive a donation of $100 of our hand sanitizer!

Dan was the lucky employee for the month of July, and he chose Essex Elementary School to receive a donation of hand sanitizer. Dan wanted to give back to the school that supports so many children in his community, knowing that schools will face many unexpected/unbudgeted expenses related to the pandemic! Great idea, Dan!

Well my friend Andy Spinny is descended from the Tarr’s and Wonson’s of the 1863 paint factory that developed bottom paint. We have been using epoxy from his family’s business Anchor Seal up in blackburn industrial park.for over twenty five years now on all our vessels.Some how it feels like heritage knowing that the same folks who have been saving our bottoms for 157 years and keeping us dry for the past twenty five are helping keep our crew and passengers safe from COVID 19.
