brought the summer vibes with a good old-fashioned cookout! 🌭🍔

Residents and families enjoyed classic favorites like hot dogs, hamburgers, fried fish, and all the delicious fixings while spending quality time together and soaking in the sunshine of great company.

We were also thrilled to welcome the Middle Peninsula Classic Cruisers, who rolled in with their stunning classic cars for everyone to admire — such a fun highlight of the day! 🚗✨

Family Days for June, July, and August will continue at 12:30 PM. We can’t wait to see you next month!

It was all things Kentucky Derby as creativity took center stage! 👒✨

In preparation for our upcoming Kentucky Derby-themed , beautiful derby hats were designed and decorated as part of this month’s adventure.

The fun didn’t stop there as our associates couldn’t resist trying on a few of the fabulous creations, which led to lots of laughter and smiles all around. 🏇💐

On Mother’s Day, our wonderful mothers enjoyed a highly requested special wine tasting! 🍷 ✨

The ladies enjoyed an afternoon filled with great company, delicious wine, and lots of laughter as we honored and celebrated them.

It was a beautiful way to show our appreciation and make the day extra special for the amazing mothers in our community.

We met up with our sister community, Commonwealth Senior Living at Kilmarnock, at Scoot's BBQ for a delicious lunch, then went to Brent and Becky's for a walk around their gardens together! 🌻😋

Kalahari Resorts - Spotsylvania is coming to Fredericksburg, Virginia and on their way there, they stopped in Williamsburg with their life like animal statues. Of course we had to go check them out! 🐘🐯

After our Sweet Memories visited with the statues, we stopped for lunch at Nick's Restaurant and then enjoyed a sweet treat at Ben and Jerry’s.

A big shout out to our amazing Executive Director, Deirdre, for tagging along and making this experience even more special. 🍨

On Earth Day, our Signature Program were all about going green! 🌎

To celebrate, we served fresh spinach and mozzarella paninis topped with a delicious pesto drizzle, paired with a refreshing raspberry tea dyed green for a festive touch.

Everything looked beautiful and tasted even better - our residents were delighted with the menu and loved joining in on the Earth Day fun! 🍵 🥪

Last week, we took our veterans out to a breakfast and support gathering in the Gloucester area, where they had the opportunity to connect with other fellow local veterans. 💙 🇺🇸

It was so special to see those connections form with others who shared similar experiences. What a meaningful morning filled with conversation, shared stories, and plenty of laughter!
