Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC knows the harmful effects that stress plays on the body. Somedays it seems like there is too much to do and not enough time. It’s important to pace yourself and find ways to relieve some of this tension and stress.

Massage Therapy... the way to Outsmart Stress

It can be delightful, schedule a relaxing massage, you need some “me” time, it’s an investment in yourself, help yourself to unwind and breathe.

You can also make time to exercise to release that tension, get your blood pumping and feel the tension melt away.

Ayurveda Wellness Healing loves a Cucumber Pear smoothie in the heat of the summer.

Like a shaded patch of grass, this recipe relieves the body of hot summer heat. Fresh fennel gently activates this recipe, supporting easy digestion while cooling a fiery digestive tract. Although it might seem otherwise, a puree of these "bad" foods blended together creates an alchemical combination that soothes, sweetens, and brightens your day.

Purify Your Blood
Cucumber and fennel's diuretic action cleanses the blood of impurities, especially Pitta impurities. The combination of this smoothie’s calming, anti-inflammatory, and diuretic effects makes it a perfect cocktail for lowering blood pressure. Sipping this nourishing drink, you are as a crisp as a cucumber plucked fresh from the vine, all the while wrapped in a nice, welcome hug of sweetness.

Cucumber Pear Smoothie by Joyful Belly Ayurveda
1 c Cucumber
½ c Fennel Stalk
2 Whole Pears
1 c Water

Peel cucumber and pear. Remove seed from cucumber for sweeter taste, or retain seeds to improve nutritional and medicinal value. Seeds may be difficult to digest for some Vata constitutions. Puree ingredients in a blender until smooth. Serve chilled.

Are you feeling stuck?

Shamanic Energy Healing sessions assist clients in redirecting ones momentum tunnel through Soul Retrieval’s, Illuminations, and Decouplings. Read on to learn more about The Illumination process and Decoupling.

The Illumination Process is the core practice of Shamanic Energy Medicine.

The illumination process consists of finding imprints in the LEF (luminous energy field), and erase them , so that we are not defended by our past, and the traumas that occurred to us. When the imprints that predispose us to certain behaviors, emotions, and beliefs, are erased, we do not have to keep on reliving them. Illumination is such a core practice in shamanic energy medicine because it allows us to clear imprints energetically, before they begin to manifest physically. Shamans work with and change the blueprint of our LEF.

The illumination technique allows you to experience your infinite, undying self...the self that never entered the stream of time, and the self that never lost connection with spirit. We heal by experiencing infinity. We realize we must not be tied down or defined by our past, and we can determine our infinite futures.

Decoupling: Resetting The Fight or Flight Mode of Survival.

After a traumatic event, many humans become stuck in the fight or flight mode, and can be stuck for the rest of their lives. When our fight or flight mode kicks in and we begin to make decisions in this survival state, we create dangerous situations for ourselves, and reinforce the idea that our world is not safe for us. While animals will innately reset their fight or flight mode, humans do not, because they cannot. However, when we look towards energy medicine, we see that shamans have discovered a way to reset our fight or flight mode of survival. This resetting is know as the decoupling process.

Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC loves this great punch recipe which is great for balancing out the heat of summer, will make you feel good about what you are putting into your body and your friends and family will be asking for the recipe.

Watermelon Lemonade Punch

4 C watermelon
Juice from 2 lemons
Agave to taste

Directions: In a blender, blend watermelon and lemon juice, add agave to taste and enjoy!

Through the lens of one should eat light at night to help give our digestive track a rest.

We at love this summer soup receipe as it’s quick and easy while delicious and nourishing. You can eat it hot or cold!

Summer Soup ~

Ingredients to serve two
• 3 – 4 big Asparagus sticks chopped
• 3 – 4 big zucchini chopped
• An half cup Frozen Peas (hey – better fresh if you’ve got the time)
PLUS
a teaspoon of black salt
a teaspoon of 6-Taste Spice Mix (we carry if you need a bottle)
half teaspoon Hing powder (at any Indian shop or substitute with a gloved of garlic)
2 teaspoons grapeseed oil (a heat-stable oil recommend for cooking)
1/2 Organic Vegetable Bouillon Cube

Sauté the spices in grapeseed oil with about 2 tablespoons of water added so it doesn’t get too hot. Add the chopped veggies. Add 4 1/2 cups of boiling water and bring to the boil. Leave on very low heat for a bit, blend, and you’re done.
Enjoy!
