Happy 4th!

Did you know 3 Senators and the DOJ are investigating medical board abuses, and they WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Please share, as I know there are 1,000s of docs who need to know this. And if you haven't signed up for my newsletter on Substack, please do so.

Comments? Indeed, welcome - and best to offer them on the post itself on substack.

DOJ laid out its initial case against MLBs 30 yeas ago. They apparently chose not only to ignore DOJ's guidance, they've exponentially expanded their abuse portfolio.

Most physicians (and nurses, dentists, and veterinarians…) have little understanding of the Physician Health Program (PHP)* franchise. These are entities contracted to conduct so-called "fitness-for-duty exams" on behalf of medical licensing boards and the hospitals where physicians hold staff privileges. Simply on suspicion of mental health and substance abuse impairment or "potential for impairment," often anonymously reported, any licensee can be ordered to submit to such an exam. In many cases, the findings are considered to be virtually incontestable. And the career and personal life consequences for the scrutinized physician can be devastating.

Join us for a free two-part informational webinar entitled "Physician Health Programs (PHPs): A Critical Look" Wed, Mar 8th and 15th, 8pm ET. Each session is 1 hour, including Q&A. One registration reserves your place for both events. Spaces limited.
