🌟 Coalition Partner Spotlight: Gloucester Coalition for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse 🌟

The Gloucester Coalition for the Prevention of Domestic Abuse (GCPDA) is a multi-agency group that recently celebrated its 25th anniversary this year. The purpose of the coalition is to increase community awareness and prevent and respond to domestic abuse in the community. Coalition partners include the Gloucester Police Department (Official), HAWC, the Gloucester Health Department, and the Gloucester Public Schools.

The GCPDA has made steadfast efforts over the past 25 years to move our community towards becoming a Violence Free Zone. We recognize that abuse and violence remain critical and preventable public health issues affecting the safety and wellbeing of our community. The coalition works in partnership with local officials, community partners, survivors, and their families to commit to prevention and response in order to prevent incidents of domestic abuse and sexual assault.

The GCPDA meets on the first Tuesday of each month from 12:00 to 1:30 pm at St. John's Episcopal Church in Gloucester. All are welcome to join!
