Happy New Year! As we change the calendar it is a time to contemplate the last year and look forward to the new one. Consider letting go of the things/ideas that no longer serve you and make room for new ways of being that bring you joy and contentment.

If I don't see you on 1/3, I'll be back on 1/20 and likely to begin classes on 1/24.

As much as I hate to cancel class, I think it prudent. The snow is already piling up and the forecast shows an increase in projected totals. That and I a couple of you have already cancelled so there are very few left in the class. Let's just say the weather won again.

Happy Solstice Season! The dark days of winter have reached their peak so we can look forward to the returning of the sun. I have obligations on Tuesday this week so the only class is Saturday. Looking forward to next week, Tuesday 12/30 will also be cancelled.

I need to cancel some upcoming classes. This week Saturday is cancelled due to an Audubon Christmas Bird Count. Next week Tuesday will be cancelled for an important community event. I may have to cancel a class the following week to visit mom. Let's hope the snow doesn't boggle up anymore classes!

Hope you all are hunkered down and enjoying the storm from a safe, wam, and cozy place.

Snow is supposed to be heavy to moderate all day, though it is supposed to stop by "class time". I'm sure we will all be digging out then so I'm making the decision to 'err on the side of caution'. That way you don't have to make a decision to try to go out amid the snowplows and snowblowers.

I am sorry to have to cancel tomorrow's class (11/29 Saturday). (details in the link)

Maybe we'll only get 2 inches?? But based on this morning's snow, we may have more like 6" tomorrow morning.

Try a home practice in place of class. You all know what your body responds to best. Just 15 minutes of movement will start your day off right.
