Let’s clear up a few rumors.
Yes, I have purchased Bundy-Law Funeral Home.
I want our community to know that I’m not new here. I’ve had the honor of serving families at Bundy-Law Funeral Home for nearly 24 years. My wife, Amanda, and I have worked closely with Jim and Jennifer Law for quite some time to ensure this transition was handled thoughtfully, carefully, and with the families we serve always in mind.
Most importantly, your pre-arrangements are safe and secure. In fact, I was likely the funeral director who helped you make those arrangements in the first place—and nothing about them will change. Our goal is simple: to continue the same trusted service Bundy-Law is known for, while making things better and more affordable for families in the future.
Through this transition, Bundy-Law Funeral Home now has access to a larger network of support from our family of funeral homes:
• Koch Funeral Home – Freeport
• Koch Funeral Home – Gnadenhutten
• Koch Funeral Home – Scio
This expanded network allows us to share resources, reduce costs, and ensure help is always readily available—while still maintaining the personal care and compassion you expect.
Amanda and I have proudly called Cambridge home since 2002. We are blessed with two wonderful children, our son Seth and our daughter Audra. Seth is a graduate of John Glenn High School and Mid-East Technology Center (Buffalo Campus) from the welding program, and Audra is currently an 8th-grade student at John Glenn Middle School.
Our children have kept us very active over the years, and through their extracurricular activities—T-ball, golf, archery, lacrosse, gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, softball, and 4-H—we’ve been introduced to so many incredible families and lifelong friends. These experiences have connected us to our community in ways we are truly grateful for.
Through our work, church, and community involvement, Amanda and I have been fortunate to build hundreds of meaningful relationships that we truly value.
We love our life on the old dairy farm we call home, where working with our animals and spending time outdoors gives us peace and perspective.
Finally, we want to sincerely thank everyone for the condolences, congratulations, encouragement, and support we’ve received. This transition has not been without its challenges, but the overwhelming support from this community has made it all worthwhile.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or stop by to visit. We are committed to serving our community and striving to make everything better.
Thank you for trusting us—now and for generations to come.
Jacob & Amanda Koch
