The Hope Factory, LLC, a new speech therapy clinic located in Goddard, is excited to introduce the addition of adult outpatient speech therapy services.

Christy Harbert, CCC/L-SLP will begin seeing adult patients at The Hope Factory, LLC, starting April 4,2022. Christy brings 24 years experience with working with this age population to The Hope Factory. Christy has spent her career working with adults recovering from CVA’s, and TBI, swallowing disorders due to multiple diagnoses, as well as many other diagnoses that result in decreased communication, cognition or difficulty swallowing. She has worked with many individuals to help regain function and abilities in those who live with Parkinson’s disease, as well as many other neurological disorders.

Over the years Christy has helped many individuals with:
Aphasia
Oral apraxia and Apraxia of Speech
Dysarthria (slurred or decreased intelligibility of speech)
Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
Cognitive Linguistic decline and deficits
Voice disorders
And much more

Christy is certified in the following treatment techniques:
VitalStim
Deep Pharyngeal Neuromuscular Stimulation
LSVT
McNeil Dysphagia Therapy

The Hope Factory, LLC, an outpatient speech therapy clinic located in Goddard, is excited to introduce our pediatric speech therapy services.

Natalie Medina, M.A., CCC-SLP has started scheduling patients! Natalie brings 2 years of experience working with the pediatric population. Natalie provides intervention in the areas of articulation and phonology skills, expressive and receptive language skills, pragmatic language skills, fluency, augmentative and alternative communication, and feeding aversions. She has also worked extensively with children diagnosed with Autism.

Over the years Natalie has helped individuals with:
Receptive and expressive language disorders
Pragmatic language
Phonological disorders
Childhood onset fluency disorders
Autism
Feeding difficulties
