We were excited to once again hold our annual mini MCC ( Kansas Mennonite Relief Sale ) sale last Friday. We sold baked goods as well as a few odds and ends. Our small but mighty group of residents raised $161 in 2 hours!! This event has been so important to many of our residents their whole lives and we are grateful to find ways for them to still participate!

If you drive through town and wonder what happened on the West end of Bethesda, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. Eleven trees were removed this Saturday. They were either dead or dying. It looks so different!! Thank you to Nancy Stucky for capturing these photos throughout the day. So thankful for the work that was done!!

Yesterday Bethesda put on a great Spring Banquet for the residents. Our part was to provide music. Many thanks to John Spielman (Mandolin), Denise Woelk (banjo), Ariel Kraus (Guitar), Gayle Voth (Vocals) and Arlen Goertzen (Bass). It was especially fun because Gayle and Ariel are both former Activity Directors at Bethesda. Here is "Are You Washed In The Blood?"
