HOW FASTING HELPED ME LOSE 80LBS
When I started my fitness journey I was just like everyone else, lost , confused, doing random s**t in the gym, eating bland brown rice everyday, doing cardio everyday for no reason what so ever. I thought this was what you had to do to lose weight.
Then I discovered FASTING.
I know by now there’s tons and tons of back and form information about this: here’s my experience & what I know.
Fasting helped me with 3 major key factors which in turn helped with losing weight.
(And even building muscle and strength)
Discipline
Meal Timing
Calorie Control
Disciple: Waking up in the morning and waiting a few extra hours before breakfast was such a small change that had HUGE effects when it came to losing 80lbs.
(I also experimented with training fasted which I don’t recommend for beginners)
Meal timing: its one of those things that is really subjective. If you’re a guy who can eat 10k calories a day and not gain weight. This probably doesn’t apply to you.
If you’re like me and look at a cookie and gain weight. You might benefit from meal timing lol.
Over time my body has developed a natural timer to where everyday at the same time my body feels hungry, and I eat. This has cut down on mindless snacking and overeating.
Which brings me to the final factor that helped me lose 80lbs and probably the most important.
Calorie control:
If you can’t control your calories. You can’t control your weight. It’s really that simple.
Fasting + meal timing = discipline
