"who am i now, after yet another war?
how many wars?
how long must humanity go on like this?
what mantra will quell the tide of male violence?
after so much bloodshed ... of seeing the terrible plight of womenfolk, and their children, and the young men...in such terrible agony and fear and so lost in separation...who are we now?
what is the answer?
is there an answer?
we have heard the speeches.
we have heard the theories...
we have listened to our latest media guru’s, media 'influencers…’
and what are we left with?
who are we now?
more confusion than ever.
more separation than ever.
more conflicting opinions to separate us from our friends and families.
i have stepped back in an attempt to answer my own question - who am i now.
i can honestly say, i don't know.
the only spark of light i see is when i sit with myself, going fearlessly, deeper into my own being...where i have discovered a place free of the endless chatter of the mind - it is a place where i don't exist as a person...so no government can touch me there…no religion can persuade me there.
it is a place where the madness dissolves into the periphery of my experience.
and inside - using the mantras as avatars...if i am diligent and attentive, i can experience a place of deep safety - deep peace.
i am safe.
in that sacred realm, 'i' am home.
and i give thanks, once again, for these sacred sounds - happening in plain sight - that so many of us have experienced as light bearers, and spirit guides...that lead us gently and fiercely, into our inner sanctuary.
i pray for peace on earth, but, sadly, i feel it is an empty plea.
humanity has existed for millions of years and yet we still continue to resolve our conflicts with aggression and violence.
how much longer must humanity fight and struggle with itself.?
what hope can there possibly be?
but wait.
there is something pure within reach.
it is the state of hopefulness.
i urge you all to meet your friends and family in a state of hopefulness.
meet everyone, as you go through your day-to-day chores, in a state of hopefulness.
our sangha is a gathering of gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion.
these qualities contain intrinsically within them, the powerful state of hopefulness.
and please don't give up.
no matter if world war three is upon us.
even if the madness escalates even further...keep giving thanks and keep singing - keep chanting your prayers.
don’t get lost in separation
and continue to sing your prayers that will lead humanity home to where we belong - in peace within our safe and sacred sanctuary."

As the seasons shift, what is shifting within you?

The Autumn Equinox represents a supreme balance of both darkness and light, the known and unknown, and the deep breath before we turn inwards in preparation for Winter.

The fading light and thinning Veil of Autumn represents a time of change, a time to harvest the seeds of manifestation and to connect with the supernatural.

And as we watch the Autumn leaves change, we must ask ourselves, what has changed within us?

All Seasons of Life are meant to serve our Highest Good and continued growth.

The Autumn season, especially, teaches us the beauty of letting go.

That even the trees know …
