This pose helps build leg strength, improve hip and pelvic mobility, and supports balance, posture, and focus.

Spring strength, your way 🌱💪

Looking to build a little more strength in your practice? Try adding light weights—an easy, effective way to deepen your flow and feel the difference.

Flow from tabletop into spinal balance with 3–5 lb weights: row in, tricep extend, reach long… then draw elbow to opposite knee and round into a tuck before re-extending.

Start with 5–6 reps each side.
Want more? Build to 8–10 reps or add another round 🔥
Bonus: keep that back leg lifted the whole time for extra challenge.

Plank play + a little experiment 🔍✨
Forearm plank vs high plank… which one is actually harder? 👀🔥

I tested both using a yoga block under the pelvis to help with alignment (aka keeping those hips from piking), and the results surprised me…

• Forearm plank + block = WAY more supportive (but still 🔥)• High plank + block = felt like my hips dropped too much → no block worked better for me

Just a reminder: there’s no one-size-fits-all in yoga. Your body might feel something completely different—so play with it 🤍

Try these form cues:• Navel draws in + up toward the spine• Press back through the heels• Reach the chest forward to stay long through the spine

Modification: drop the knees—you’re still building strength 💪
