Hello to everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that he are keeping our office sanitized throughout this nightmare. We have masks if you need one and hand sanitizer as well. I know that some of you are really struggling with all of the restrictions that have once again come down on us. It has been difficult at best for us all. I just want you all to know that we are here for you. There are 2 other therapists in the office with me, Linda Riley and Diana Sundukos. I work with Diana at Juvenile Hall and she is great. Linda is just getting her office set up to help people and would love to here from you to set up an appointment. Please give us a call. You don't have to go through this all by yourself. Take care and be in good health.

Hello to all my friends. It has been a while since I posted anything. A lot has gone on since the last time. I am still fighting the cancer thing although the last CT scan showed a little improvement. I'm not really sure what that means but it is better than it staying the same or getting worse. Diana, Linda and I have kept the office going with the proper precautions in place. We all felt that it was important to be here for our clients during this very difficult time. I do hope that you are all doing well . If not please give us a call and we would be happy to help you in what ever way we can. Along those lines, we are still looking for one more clinician to fill our office space. We have one more office space available and would love to fill that spot. If you know of anyone that is looking for a space to start their business please let me know. As thing start getting back to "normal" we hope to be up and running with a full staff I still have a few opening available. Linda has some spots open as well so please help us spread the word.
Once again I hope this finds everyone in good health with positive things happening in your lives.

Well here we go for yet another week of the virus. I truly hope that you are all doing well and getting through this very interesting situation with a minimal amount of trouble. I find that staying positive is the best medicine. Take this time to get to know each other again. We finally get a chance to slow down and enjoy the little things in our lives. Play with your kids or grandchildren. Sometimes I forget just how much they want and need our attention and how much I need theirs. One of the things I have taken the time to do is develop my new web page. Please visit: philipstahr.com. If you know anybody who may need some help getting through some of the ups and downs of our current situation please send them my way. Remember how important we all are in the world.

Hope this finds everyone doing well and staying safe. For all who know me I have a very positive attitude toward life. Even in the situation we find ourselves in today I continue to look for what will come. I am proud of all the brave souls that are out there helping others get through this troubling ordeal. I have continued to see and/or talk with my clients to help them navigate through such trying times. I must say that I have found the majority of people I talk to to be doing well and looking toward the future. My heart goes our to all those who have any loved ones being affected by the virus. When this comes to an end I want people to know that we here at the office will be ready to help anyone who needs the help. I also wanted to let everyone know that we have 1 more office space yet to be filled. Anyone looking for a nice office please contact me. I would love to talk with you and help you start a practice in the Gold River area. Please let people know we are are here and that I can be contacted at 916-812-3726. Hang in there. We shall overcome this. Stay strong.

Acceptance

Is the answer to all my problems today. When I am disturbed, it is because I find some person, place, thing or situation – some fact of my life unacceptable to me and I can find no serenity until I accept that person, place, thing or situation being exactly the way it is supposed to be at this moment. Nothing, absolutely nothing, happens in this world by mistake; unless I accept life completely on life’s terms, I cannot be happy. I need to concentrate not so much on what needs to be changed in the world as on what needs to be changed in me and in my attitudes.

Accept your past without regret, no matter how painful it was. Move forward, handling your present with CONFIDENCE, you are in control of your happiness. EMBRACE your future without fear, learn from your experiences – adjust your behavior.

FORGIVE. GROW. HEAL.
