The saying, hindsight is 2020, has always been something I didn't really understand until it did.
It's been 6 months since I broke both of my arms, yes, both 🤦♀️. Morgan and I started off with the intention of a 10-mile ride. Before even getting out of my neighborhood, a freak accident. I went flying over the handlebars.
In hindsight, I can notice that while I was lying on the ground trying to make sense of what happened, I was consciously breathing, bringing balance back into my body system. Morgan was eager to get me up and move, but I knew I needed to stay put. After identifying that my left arm was broken & breathing for about 5 mins, I could get myself up. Holding my left arm with my right, I walked 2 blocks to my home.
Inside with ice, we came up with an action plan.
On the way to urgent care, then ER, I started mentally tapping to calm my overactive, panicked mind.
The nurse who took the X-rays commented, "You are the calmest patent that I have seen with your injuries. "
Using EFT as a tool, even just thinking about it, allowed the events to flow easily.
I am so incredibly grateful to have found EFT for personal use and to be a practitioner for those curious about how this funny little tool can support them.
Have you heard about EFT?
Do you use it?
