Had a weekend filled with self care and rejuvenation while my boys where in AZ… much needed alone time.
However, Elden and I had a lovely mom & son bike ride when he got back. Kicked my ass, but I loved hearing all of his commentary about the terrain, speed, and surroundings….Along with him telling me to stay calm and take deep breaths 😍😂

A supportive, safe, and fun community for like minded Reiki healers to come together in sacred space. To share their love and curiosity for Reiki, experience other people’s healing energy, set intentions, release what no longer serves and co-create divine healing sessions for each person. We will celebrate our wins (big and small) and learn from each other through themed lessons.

I AM STAR.

This is the powerful affirmation I received yesterday. I was felt into what it meant from within and a few things came through … I AM (despite of my self doubt) here in this life to be a 🌟, to shine my light and empower others to do the same!
I AM magnetic. A reminder to use my five senses when I need to come back to the present and radiate the energy I wish to receive.

Today, I found this depiction of a five pointed star and instantly felt like “Yep! That makes totally sense!”

It represents the connection bonding human spirit to Mother Nature. ❤️

Sometimes things appear that we don’t quite understand but when we take the time to feel into it, something beautiful unfolds.

This is a reminder to me that there are people out there who are waiting to receive what I have to offer, I just have to step up and out of my comfort zone to be that guiding light.

Knowing your No is a powerful thing.
Any time you say no to something that feels overwhelming, draining, tiring or that you don’t actually have time for you are RECEIVING and so are others!

Think about it, when you say no to something, you are opening a passageway for an opportunity that is more in alignment for you.

When you say yes to something (particularly something that is overwhelming, draining, tiring) what are you denying yourself to receive?

We are so used to saying yes to everything- running errands, commitments with friends, family, work etc, chores, all the things… then we begin to feel overwhelmed by it all, dread doing it, feel resentment…

So, what if next time you are asked to do something you pause and notice in your body if you actually have energy for what you are being asked to do- and if it feels exciting, light, enjoyable then say yes. If it feels heavy, draining, exhausting it’s OK to say no.

This is hard in the beginning, especially when you are used to doing it ALL. I invite you to try this as a practice of Self Care.

When you start saying no guilt will come in, shame will come in, Im here to tell you, you deserve the break, you are worthy of this selfless act.

Human Design is SO fascinating to me.
Like, I freaking love it.

I actually got a reading at the Mind Body Spirit Fair years ago, and at the time it didn’t resonate at all! I found it again during my BodyMind Coaching training 2 years ago and still didn’t understand it.
Last winter some of my colleagues from BMC were really getting into it, so I began to do some research for myself and became obsessed. Hello Divine, I finally hear you.

I have found that HD validates so many aspects of who I am, who I have been conditioned to believe I am and real Ah-has of why I do things the way I do. It reminds me to live authentically, but not in a bu****it way. (I mean that in the sense that authenticity has become a hype word, and I’ve definitely gone around in circles not actually knowing how to be authentic)

Using MY Human Design “to respond” to anything that is presented to me allows me to live authentically as long as I listen to my energy, and my body. It will tell me if something is a YES or a NO and if I respond in alignment to that yes or no, life seems to flow with ease.

A phrase/mantra/belief I have held strong to through out my life but especially over the last several years is “Live a life that lights you up.” Which by the way is EXACTLY what my energy type (as a Generator) is meant to do!

I have never stayed at job, just because it’s “a good job”, if I don’t feel like it aligns or lights me up any more, I quit. I’ve been like that since I graduated high school.

I’ve ALWAYS believed in doing what I love and loving what I do.

I now know that in my business when I get excited about an idea it means DO IT!

My design inspires, and magnetizes people who are meant to be in my circle, in my healing space, in my programs.

I love going down the rabbit hole of a Human Design. I love that I made the conscious decision to learn about it for ME FIRST and not just jump into it with the intention of using it to help others first.

This young guy came passing through for a snack.

Moose is an animal of contradictions. It is strange yet majestic. It seems akward, but there is tremendous gracefulness to it. It can make us smile yet catch our breath. They have an ability to camouflage itself and involves and aspect of shapeshifting. They associate with water and feminine energies.

and I enjoyed an early morning Forest Bath Hike. Because of all the rain, we had the park all to ourself. Everything was so fresh and vibrant with many little treasures.

We were guided to this shelter where someone had already started an offerings alter. We enjoyed a breath work, tree connection meditation and all the magic of nature. It was a very grounding, calming, refreshing, revitalizing morning.

Come on out this weekend to the Holistic Homesteads Farmers Market where there will be local vendors, live performances and yours truly will be doing $1/min mini sessions. Receive some healing, relieve stress and mingle with the community.

Little man and I have had head colds this week, but are both feeling much better. He’s been such a trooper and in good spirits. Today on the other hand has been a rough one for both of us. Maybe it’s spending too much time inside, maybe it’s mom’s cycle that wears off on the rest of the house... either way we both woke up wanting to get outside for some fresh air and movement today. I started the hike pretty frustrated- a pissy attitude, cranky toddler, stroller and two dogs who of course wanted to sniff everything! Half way through our adventure we both felt our energies mellow out. Elden said “I feel better, do you mom?” “Yes, Elden I do” We talked about what we heard- the babbling creek, the birds. What we smelt- mmmm the pine trees. What we felt- the breeze, the sun. These were all things he told me he sensed. This is the power of nature, and being mindful on your adventures. It shifted our energy, our moods and our perspectives. Brought me back into the present moment and out of frustration.
