Is the VIRAL 15 or 18 step Korean Head Spa treatment worth it? I tried it and these are my thoughts:
First thing to know is that these treatments are designed for those with hairloss & scalp inflammation (conditions like dandruff/ seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis). So does EVERYONE need one? Probably not. But it is a relaxing experience, for sure. I'll summarize the pros and cons below:
Pros:
✅ Relaxing 90 minute experience
✅ Professional technicians/therapists
✅ Scalp analysis could be beneficial if you have inflammatory or hair loss conditions
✅ Steps included do help improve the scalps current condition (but I wouldn't expect long term results with 1 treatment)

Cons:
❎ Price ($130-180) - depends on your budget
❎ If you have a healthy scalp I don't think all 15 steps are necessary (could find just a relaxing treatment for cheaper)
❎ 1 treatment may help your scalp but with chronic conditions like seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis this doesn't offer any long term results/plan

Final thoughts: if you have the budget and want a relaxing unique experience in Korea this is worth it, especially if you're dealing with something like seborrheic dermatitis. Could you do a lot of these steps yourself? Probably. Essentially it's a very thorough hair/scalp wash ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
