What nobody tells you about stress is that your shoulders and spine show it long before your mind does.

Most people move through their day without ever checking in with their body, and I get it. When life feels full, stressful, or overwhelming, awareness is often the first thing to go, but your body is always responding. Your shoulders creep up, your spine stiffens, one foot turns out, your pelvis shifts, that is because your nervous system is doing its best to protect you.

You do not need to push harder or work out more aggressively. Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is notice how you are holding yourself and invite gentle movement back into your day. A walk, stretch, or a few moments of breath and awareness.

Have you heard the typical phrase “emotions fade with time”? While that can happen with some, the truth is, unprocessed emotions often stay stored in the body as tension.

Some may experience:
- Muscle tension that never fully releases.
- Pain that comes and goes without a clear cause.

- Posture that collapses when life feels heavy.
- Emotional reactions that feel bigger than the moment.

The mission of Body In Balance Wellness Center is to inspire clients to awaken to their highest potential by improving their physical, emotional, and mental well-being to a level that allows them create the best possible life for themselves.

We are an 8 Weeks to Wellness office offering Network Spinal Analysis (NSA) Chiropractic care, massage therapy, personalized fitness training, and nutrition and lifestyle management.

We are committed to looking at the WHOLE picture of how we can help an individual heal. We develop a comprehensive, holistic plan to help our patients not only get out of pain, but also help address underlying health issues that are interfering with the quality of life.
