We have been duped!

The FDA, the AMA, the Diabetes Association and more have been captured by corporate funding.

The idea that saturated fat, animal products, eggs, lard, tallow, etc. cause cardiovascular disease and cancer is flat wrong!

Eat a traditional diet. That also means finding local, pasture-raised animal sources and raw dairy.

Avoid concentrated feeding operation animal products and fats, avoid processed food (most food with a label), avoid vegetable oils (canola, sunflower, safflower, corn, etc) and avoid produce that is GMO and/or sprayed with pesticides.

Our body is not built to handle the onslaught of chemicals and nutrient-poor, refined, high calorie processed food.

Let's do this!

PS: the caveat. If your gut is very leaky and you have digestive problems, you might need to limit saturated fat until you heal your gut. When your gut is leaky and you aren't making adequate stomach acid, enzymes, and bile or if you lack keystone species, saturated fat with cause more inflammation through endotoxemia via LPS. Dr. Weston A. Price uncovered how ancestral diets prevent decay and degeneration, revealing nutrition’s impact on health.

He studied 14 isolated populations from Swiss villages, Scottish communities, Native American tribes, and African tribes, all consuming nutrient-dense whole foods like organ meats, raw dairy, seafood, and bone broths. These diets provided essential fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, K2 MK-4) and minerals, supporting strong bones, teeth, and health. These groups had no tooth decay.

When they switched to refined, processed foods like white flour, sugar, and oils, dental decay and degeneration took hold. Conditions like arthritis and diabetes emerged.

Dr. Price’s key finding: Without adequate fat-soluble vitamins, the body can’t absorb minerals needed for strong bones and teeth. He also exposed the dangers of poor-quality cod liver oil and emphasized that nutrient-dense food is essential for health.

Clinical Trials: Dr. Price also conducted trials with animals, showing that those fed traditional diets thrived with strong bones and teeth. When fed processed foods, they quickly showed signs of degeneration.

Dr. Price’s research is a wake-up call. He proved that nutrition is foundational to health, and returning to traditional, whole-foods diets can protect us from modern health issues.

Eating "dinner" for breakfast has revolutionized my health. ✅️

Before I made the switch, I was eating a gluten-free English muffin with organic sausage and 1/2 avocado. Not terrible, but I didn't realize this was putting me in a heightened state of inflammation and contributing to the life-consuming symptoms I had, such as:

❌️Extreme bloating and gut pain
❌️Joint pain
❌️Muscle pain and tension
❌️Brain fog
❌️Terrible gas
❌️Reflux
❌️Nausea
❌️Constipation
❌️Insomnia
❌️Dissociation

Eliminating gluten-free bread products has been instrumental in my healing. Having Celiac, there is something about grains, in general, but especially GF bread that inflames me.

Eating dinner foods for breakfast felt weird, at first, but now I look forward to it and enjoy it. It took a mental shift in what I think of breakfast. Plus, breakfast energizes me, now, whereas before, it made me feel sluggish and tired. It also means I have some veggies with every meal.

Why are Americans so sick?

It comes down to our food, our environment, the unrestricted use or leaching of chemicals in our food, air and water, our lack of movement, our lack of being in nature, our lack of connection with a higher power and our lack of meaningful human connection.

So, what can you do?

1) Eat real food, preferably organic! When you eliminate processed food and ultra-processed food, you eliminate a major source of chemicals and toxins in our environment. Processed and ultra-processed food contain chemicals from the GMO plants they are made from. Then they also contain Roundup and the active ingredient, Glyphosate, which is an antibiotic that selectively kills your beneficial bacteria and leaves pathogenic bacteria. Many of these chemicals are carcinogenic and endocrine disruptors. Additionally, eliminating or diminishing these foods cuts down on trash and the chemicals used in packaging.
2) Filter your water! Water contains hormones, antibiotics, other medications, heavy metals, pesticides, bacteria, cysts, fluoride, chlorine, and bromide, among other toxicants.
3) Move your body! It doesn’t need to be the gym. Take a walk, go for a hike, lift weights at home, dance, clean your house, jump rope, get on your trampoline or a rebounder, ride a bike, practice yoga… find something you love and do it.
4) Mind your microbiomes! We have a collection of bugs that we NEED in our gut, our skin, our mouth, and for women, in their va**na. All of these microbiomes are important, but your gut microbiome has the largest impact on your overall health or level of disease. Focus on eliminating factors that kill off beneficial bacteria, such as medications, pesticides, stress, poor quality sleep, unfiltered water, ultra-processed food, and poor food hygiene AND include a wide variety of plant foods to feed your keystone species. Also, stop using disinfectant cleaning products and hand sanitizer!
