Here is Virginia Satir in Gujarati, one of the many languages spoken in India. Enjoy the beauty of the language, and words if you have the chance to undertsand Gujarati!
Here the original text in English
The Freedom to see and hear what is here,
instead of what should be, was, or will be.
The Freedom to say what you feel and think,
instead of what you should.
The Freedom to feel what you feel,
instead of what you ought.
The Freedom to ask for what you want,
instead of always waiting for permission.
The Freedom to take risks in your own behalf,
instead of choosing to be only "secure and not rocking the boat".

In some traditional cultures, people talk about the four rivers of life and attending to them in order to honor them all our life long.
How aware are you of the Four Rivers? Maybe you could ask yourself the following:
1. Can I still be inspired by people and life experiences?
2. Am I still able to grow and be open to new possibilities?
3. Am I still able to be surprised and be delighted with curiosity?
4. Can I still be deeply touched and moved by life (nature, people)?

TRAUMA & RECOVERY: THE POWER OF INTERACTIONS & CONNECTIONS ON THE ROAD TO HEALING
I listened to the podcast MHPN Book Club: Witnessing and remembering trauma with Judith Herman’s ‘Trauma and Recovery’ . It reminded me how powerful this book is and how thirty years after having been published it is still a keystone for understanding trauma and recovery. I would like to share these lines from Judith Herman’s book that had strongly resonated inside me and then ask you, in a Focusing way, a few questions about your body sense of her writing.

THINGS THAT CO-EXIST, INFORM & NURTURE EACH OTHER
This post from the Mental Health Resources website reminds me a lot of Focusing as well as Daosim and QiQong philosophy.
I find that it is a good reminder of the intricacy and complexity of life. It might also open the doors ( and windows!) to more flexibility and congruency.
