Today is a great reminder that small actions can make a big difference for our planet—and for our community’s health. Clean air, safe water, and healthy environments all play a role in keeping us well.

Living in a rural community means we’re closely connected to the land around us. Taking care of it helps protect our health, our wildlife, and future generations.

Let’s work together to keep our community clean, green, and thriving 💚

**Wellness Wednesday**Public health helps protect our community by sharing simple steps that prevent illness. Food safety information is one example. Eggs can sometimes carry Salmonella bacteria, which can cause food poisoning.
Small actions at home help prevent illness in our community. That’s public health in action.
To stay safe:
🥚 Discard cracked eggs.
🌡️ Cook egg dishes to 160°F.
🧼 Wash hands and utensils after handling raw eggs
