🌟Get 400 micrograms (mcg) of folic acid every day
🌟Try to reduce your risk for infections, including regular hand washing
🌟Get recommended vaccines
🌟Get tested for sexually transmitted infections
🌟See a healthcare professional regularly
🌟Talk to a healthcare professional about taking any medications
🌟Avoid alcohol, to***co, and other recreational drugs

Getting ready to feed your baby—and want simple, real-life support that actually helps? Join us for a warm, practical class led by Klickitat County WIC.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞’𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 (𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞, 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥-𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐬):
• How milk supply starts and grows in the first 3 days
• How to hold baby + get a comfy latch (less pain)
• How to know baby is getting enough (diapers, weight, hunger cues)
• Pumping and bottles: when to start + how to plan
• Common problems (sore ni***es, engorgement, sleepy baby) + easy first steps
• Where to get help after class
