…how often do you evaluate your hearing? 🤔

For most adults, your hearing should be evaluated at least once every 3–5 years.
However, if you have certain pre-existing conditions (like tinnitus, diabetes, or heart disease) or you’re exposed to loud noise on a regular basis at work or in your personal life, it’s a good idea to have your hearing evaluated more frequently! 😀

Contrary to popular opinion, is NOT a normal part of aging!
This myth stems from the fact that hearing loss tends to correlate with age, as we tend to accumulate more damage to our hearing over time. However, it is perfectly possible to age without increasing damage to your hearing!

How? Practice these hearing health habits:
🔹Wear hearing protection when in noisy environments
🔹 Practice the 60/60 rule: limit headphone use to 60 minutes at a time at less than 60% of volume
🔹 Don’t put anything in your ear!
