Western Wayne Medial has been a part of the community for over 28 years. It is with sincere regret the time has come for us to make the decision to close the doors of our family practice permanently effective June 28, 2024. The decision to close the practice was based exclusively upon economic considerations. Insurance reimbursements have been steadily decreasing in the past few years along with the increasing demands insurance companies are placing on healthcare as a whole. Our decision to close is no reflection on our staff or the community.
We have had the privilege to make many friends; we have shared triumphs, sorrows and appreciated the opportunity to be part of your life. This decision was not made without many emotional ups and downs as is expected with a relationship that has been going for so long. We would like to thank everyone who is currently or has been part of our practice in the past; you are the reason we were successful for all these years!
We would like to thank you for the trust you have placed with us for these years and want you to be assured that we do not take that trust for granted. We understand that having your health care provider closing its practice may throw you off, so be sure you can continue to reach out to us at 919-735-1400. We will be available to answer questions or concerns for the next few months.
Many of you have health conditions that need to be managed by a health care professional, so we encourage you to secure another provider as soon as possible. We have included a list of practices accepting new patients on our website. At your direction, we will forward your medical record to your new provider.
