September 15th was Make a Hat Day, and our residents jumped right in! 🎩✨ Using just one piece of fabric, we cut it into a rectangle, folded it in half, snipped strips an inch apart and two inches long, then tied the sides together—voilà, no-sew hats! We shared plenty of laughs while making them, and the sweetest part? We created newborn hats to gift one of our amazing RAs who just welcomed a beautiful baby boy. 💙👶 Hats off to that!

We wrapped up Spirit Week in the coziest way possible—PJ Day! 💤✨

The morning started with a delicious cereal bar, and we ended the day with the best kind of snuggles during puppy playtime. 🐶💙 What a perfect finish to a week full of fun, laughter, and memories!

A trip to the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park was just what our residents needed! 🌬️✨ Watching these colorful contraptions twirl and dance in the wind was truly mesmerizing. Sometimes the simplest moments bring the biggest joy. 💛

✨ Day 4 of Spirit Week took us on a trip through time with Decades Day! 🕺💃

Residents and team members dressed in their favorite decade attire, and we strutted our stuff in a fabulous fashion show—starting in the 1990s and ending all the way back in the 1920s. From retro styles to timeless classics, it was a runway full of fun and nostalgia! 👗🎩🎶

A huge thank you to Jordie with Broad River Rehab and Ms. Shawna with Gentiva Hospice for joining in and making the day even more special. 💙

🛳️ Day 3 of Spirit Week was all about setting sail for Cruise Day! 🌊☀️

Our residents and team dressed in their best cruise attire, sang some lively cruising tunes, and “traveled” across the seas to the UK where we sampled some tasty snacks. 🇬🇧🍪

The fun didn’t stop there—mocktails were served 🍹 and we wrapped up the afternoon with a spirited game of volleyball that had everyone laughing and cheering! 🏐💙

A big thank you to Amanda with New Music for helping make our cruise extra special with her wonderful music. 🎶💛

🍕+🍓🍇🥝= pure happiness! When our residents heard “fruit pizza,” there were definitely some raised eyebrows. But once the strawberries, blueberries, kiwis, and apple jam came out, everyone was ready to dig in. The verdict? Sweet, fruity, and oh-so delicious—who knew pizza could taste like summer?

🎉 September 7th – 13th is National Assisted Living Week and we’re celebrating in style with a full Spirit Week for our amazing team and residents! 💙

We kicked things off with Games with Grandparents on Grandparents Day, followed by a colorful Character Day. Monday brought plenty of laughs with our bright and bold Wacky Tacky Day outfits! 🤪👕✨

August 20th was International Lemonade Day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate! 🍋✨

Our residents enjoyed a beautiful, breezy afternoon on the front porch while sipping on a variety of lemonades. We tried raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, and of course, the classic lemonade. The raspberry and blueberry were definite favorites—sweet, refreshing, and perfect for summer! 💛🌿
