My new favorite building on the farm is complete. (I think the ducks like it too!)

Shoutout to Mike the farm manager (and my husband) for building all the things and keeping our place up and running. We could not have farm camp, farm therapy, our animal co-therapists without him.

All the building on our property are designed and built by him. I am in constant awe of his ability to see and build things out of nothing.

Our camps are open to kids ages 5–13 and are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and affirming for all children.

Our goal is simple: to create a safe, supportive space where every child can just be themselves and enjoy summer.

We had so much fun at Community Day at the farm! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to support our first event! Congratulations to our raffle winner and silent auction bidders and thank you for supporting our farm! , your music was the perfect soundtrack to our day! that mural was the highlight and I love looking out and seeing it! To all the vendor and community resources, we are so grateful for your partnership!

It’s today!!! We’re so excited to have you out! If you’ve been to goldston, you know there’s not a ton of street parking… the folks at MacFab have generously shared their parking lot with us! See the map for how to get to the farm and look for signs!

Tomorrow is the big day… we can’t wait to see you!! Join us on the farm from 2-6 pm for music, goat yoga, food, a community mural, collating, fiber arts (learn to spin fiber from our very own moonshadow into yarn!) We have a super epic auction lined up with some one of a kind art and pottery pieces, 🎨native plants, 🪴 and a gift card for estate planning (thank you and for your donations!) All proceeds for the auction go to building our scholarship fund so anyone can access therapy who needs it! Don’t forget the raffle (🥚🥚free eggs for a year!) and sponsor and animal. 🐷🐥🐐🐇These proceeds go to fund a therapy cabin so we have a weatherproof space to do therapy year round! Most importantly this day is about community and resources- come out and meet the Chatham Community Library, Chatham Chuckwagon (take home some dinner on us!), Chatham County Partnership for Children, Chatham County Department of Public Health, Lilly Den Farm and Sanford Yoga and Community Center and of course our team here at Broken Things Farm! We can’t wait to see you!
